The Chapter Needs Your Help!
We're looking for volunteers to take over the following programs to help us better integrate all levels of players and all ages of harpists into a strong community!
Recognition Recital Coordinator - managing the honors recital for Festival and the winner's recital for the competition (and maybe one or two others in the future as our concert program develops)
Chapter Recognition Coordinator - help implement an updated recognition program for Festival and help implement ways to recognize chapter members (adults and students) for accomplishments throughout the year
Chapter Social Events Coordinator - coordinate 2-3 professional development days throughout the year (location already identified); coordinator would help curate learning opportunities to bring the most harpists together (ie - teacher classes, student growth opportunities, adult sessions [gigging, running a studio])
Competition Committee Member(s) - help organize and implement the Utah Harp Competition (various roles needed)
Adult Student Auditions and Evaluations Coordinator - coordinate an opportunity for our adult students to have a "festival-like" experience. The AHS generally does Auditions and Evaluations, while Utah has a unique harp festival structure because of the large number of students in our State. The A&E program is already built by the AHS National, so we need a few people that would be interested in organizing an event targeted at adult learners!
