Teacher Registration

Teachers who wish to have their students participate in Festival need to (1) be a current member of the AHS-Utah chapter, (2) complete the teacher festival registration, (3) submit the $50 teacher registration fee (you can waive this fee by volunteering 2-4 hours of judging on the day of festival).  

Please fill out the Teacher Registration so your name will appear on the Student Registration form when your student goes to register for Festival. This will help us:

• Streamline communication with teachers

• Organize Festival roles and responsibilities

• Streamline registration for Students

• Streamline Festival Feedback, Judging Sheets, awards, etc.

Solo Registration

Please make sure you have registered as a Member of the Utah Chapter of the American Harp Society BEFORE registering for Festival.  You will be asked for your pieces when you register.  Check the Required Repertoire list and make plans with your teacher before registering.

Student Registration Fees:

• 2024 AHS-Utah Chapter Member: 

  • Early bird registration fee: $22/student

  • Regular registration fee: $27/student

• Non-Member: 

  • Early bird registration fee: $32/student

  • Regular registration fee: $37/student

Student Special Categories Registration

Students may register to perform in a Special Category for the AHS-Utah Harp Festival instead of or in addition to the Solo category:

• Concerto (harp solo with piano accompaniment)

• Ensemble (2 or more harps)

• Chamber Music (harp with other instrument(s))

Please Review the Special Categories General Rules and Policies before Registering.

For the Harp Ensemble and Chamber Music categories, choose one person to complete the ensemble registration - each ensemble only needs to register once (this could be done by one of the ensemble members, or the ensemble director). You will need the following information to complete the registration:

• Ensemble Director/Teacher contact information. The sponsoring ensemble director or teacher must first complete the Teacher Registration (see above).

• Name, age, instrument, and harp size (if applicable) for each member of the ensemble.

• Name of piece(s) and composer. Only one piece is required; however, your ensemble may choose to perform two pieces if desired.

Please note: Harps may not be available for every member of the ensemble on the day of festival. Please email harp.society.utah@gmail.com if you would like to know how many harps may be available for your ensemble to use.

Concerto Registration Fees:

• Early bird registration fees: $16

• Registration fees after March 15, 2024: $21

Ensemble/Chamber Group Registration Fees:

• Early bird registration fees:

  • $21 per group, plus $5 each additional group member

  • Example: Duet = $21, Trio = $26, etc.

• Registration fees after March 15, 2024: 

  • $26 per group, plus $5 each additional group member

  • Example: Duet = $26, Trio = $31, etc.
